Carrier’s guide helps our independent carriers to complete the tasks efficiently and on time. Please read the instructions carefully before starting your delivery career. If you encounter any issues, please get in touch with your area coordinator for assistance.
The carrier has an important duty of delivering magazines and newspapers to subscribers on time. The papers must be distributed by 06:30 in the area chosen by the carrier, which is also called a delivery district. It has been estimated that the completion of one delivery task (route) takes around 2 to 4 hours, but especially at the beginning you should reserve more time in your districts. In addition to the delivery of newspapers, the carrier can also perform other tasks, such as advertisement delivery.
Finnbox distribution uses a mobile application, which makes the delivery process easy. Through the application, you can pick the delivery district and time of your choice. It is web-based application, available in Finnish, Swedish and English.
1: The application link will be provided once career signs a contract with Finnbox.
2: Your particular distribution district will be given in the application
3: Finnbox will provide username and password to career.
4: Start the delivery round by going to the starting point and opening the distribution booklet in the app. The subscriptions and addresses are marked on the EDG Electronic Delivery Guide in order, but you can choose the delivery route you prefer.
5: After completing the distribution task, confirm it finished in the app.
As an Finnbox carrier, you can employ yourself either as an entrepreneur or as a freelancer. Find out about different ways to earn.

The newspapers must be delivered by 06:15
The other products can be delivered at the same time or in a separate round, however by 16:00 on the same day.
The delivery book in the application shows the products to be delivered and their quantities, as well as an estimated time of the delivery route. The products will be delivered to the pickup point, from which the carrier picks them up. If the delivery is defective or the products are damaged, the carrier should immediately notify the deviation via the Electronic delivery guide, as the fee is only paid for completed and acknowledged delivery tasks.
Your district may include blocks of flats for which you need a key. The bunches of keys are marked with the district numbers, so you will need your district number to identify the bundle that belongs to you.
You may use your car or bicycle in your delivery duties at your own expense and at your own risk. You may also use a delivery cart or bag of your own.
The carrier is responsible for completing the delivery tasks, so you must arrange a substitute for yourself if you suddenly fall ill or cannot complete your duties for any other reason. You have the right to hire assistants, either for an entire district or a part thereof, but you will be responsible for the performance of your assistants as for your own.
If you are unable to obtain an assistant or substitute, you must immediately notify the area coordinator.
When you have completed your delivery duties, you should acknowledge the delivery as completed, report any deviations in the delivery book and return the keys of the district to the pickup box for the next delivery. The acknowledgement means that you have completed your task.
The delivery fee is determined by multiple things such as the delivery district, number of products and length of the route. The delivery fee is the same every day of the week and is only paid for completed delivery tasks.
Delivery fees are paid to your registered bank account monthly. Freelancers receive the payment with a delay of 1-2 weeks and entrepreneurs receive the payment within normal invoice payment schedule with a payment term of 15 days.
